I aim for perfection but everyone’s skin is different and will react differently to the procedure. Some skin will heal faster than others, some skin will retain the pigment longer, all skin is aging, & our skin cell turn over is different on each person. Some of us will be harder on our skin than others; swimming, outdoor sports, tanning and weather all have a negative effect on our skin. My goal is to make them match as closely as possible but nature does play a role in the contour of our brows.
- Do Not get the brows wet during the healing process for 14 days.
- Do Not put anything (water, make-up, lotions etc.) on the brows for 14 days.
- Never use anything other than the medication Heavenly Brows provides for your eyebrows.
- Do Not sweat for 14 days – this is a hard one, but body heat expands the pores. Sweat has salt and will prematurely fade, blur or cause the pigment not to take at all.
- Do Not scrub, rub or pick at the epithelial crusts that forms. Allow it to flake off by itself. If it is removed before it is ready the pigment underneath it can be pulled out.
- Stay out of the sun for two weeks. Then be sure to use sunblock on the healed brows after two weeks. to prevent fading.
- Do Not use any Retin-A or Glycolic Acids in the brow area during or after healing.
- Do Not use a tanning bed for a month …preferably, never!
Note: Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days. I want you to be thrilled with the results for the months ahead, so follow the instructions! FAILURE TO FOLLOW AFTER-CARE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN INFECTIONS, PIGMENT LOSS OR DISCOLORATION. Recommend yearly touch-ups.
All following must be Avoided during the 7 days post microblading procedure:
- Increased sweating.
- Swimming.
- Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi.
- Sun tanning or salon tanning.
- Long hot showers
- Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on face or neck.
- Picking, peeling or scratching of the micro pigmented area.
- Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds.
- Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles or motorcycles.
- Outdoor sports.
- Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care creams with a cotton swab.
- Absolutely no eyebrow make up on or around the area for two weeks-during healing.
Please note that if you don’t return for your touch up within 4-6 weeks you will be charged additional price to complete your procedure.
What to expect after your Heavenly Brows Microblading procedure?
Your new temporary eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The first day they look a little dark! It’s a bit of a roller coaster ride …expect Flaking, peeling, color loss in some areas. The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure, this is because the pigment is still sitting on top of the skin, and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment & or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin.
Color will surface after Oxidation.
Once the healing of the skin starts taking place it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. DO NOT EVER pick, peel or scrub the Microbladed area as it will damage the skins healing process and may result in scaring. It is very important to let your eyebrows heal at their own pace. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly, however this is just superficial color & dry skin naturally shedding from your eyebrows. Once completely healed in two weeks I advise applying a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 or up to SPF 50 to protect the brows, when exposed to the sun. Not an excessively oily sunscreen as this could push the pigment out. Also, sun exposure may cause the pigment to fade faster!
Just think of the eyebrows like a baby.. you must apply sunblock on them after they are healed.
A combination of manual 3D hair strokes & shading towards the beginning of the eyebrow.
A soft powder brow using a machine or shading needle & a soft tap method, of ink is deposited leaving no harsh lines & creates a more color dense filled brow. Tends to last longer than traditional microblading.
Gives a more color Saturation & Intensity once the color has settled.
We use numbing creams that are approved by FDA.
Most clients say they feel little to nothing.
Safety Is #1 Priority for our clients at Heavenly Brows.

I Do NOT recommend Microblading for OILY skin types. Oily skin, tends to dilute pigment under the skin & can push out the color. A traditional method of tattooing that we offer, with a machine, is more penetrating & a better option for retaining ink with oily skin. No REFUNDS will be given, due to skin not Retaining ink.
Some skin types & working environments such as steam, laundry mats, Hot kitchens, outdoor occupations in humid weather, Salt air, & Water have a negative effect on retaining color. It is the clients responsibility to take care of the tattoo & protect the tattoo from sun & weather conditions. Refunds are Not given, but touch ups can be scheduled to add additional color & shape. Thank you for understanding.

It is normal to experience minimal swelling and tenderness immediately following your procedure. This usually subsides within a few hours. The first week following your treatment, the pigment will appear much darker than how it will appear once it has healed. Around the 1st or 2nd week post procedure, the skin naturally exfoliates and sheds. During weeks 4-8 when the skin completes healing, you will see the pigment become more visible. An Enhancement Session visit approximately 8-12 weeks after your first initial appointment is necessary in order to achieve that richness of color, achieve symmetry, and density in the shape.
Please review our detailed “Pre & Post Care” Instructions. It is highly beneficial to follow these instructions to ensure a comfortable healing process and to achieve the best possible results. DO NOT rub or pick the healing area as the color will peel off prematurely, and avoid extreme heat, sweating, and contaminated bodies of water (such as saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, pools, lakes, and places with hot humidity, etc.).
As a precaution, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant or nursing women. We highly recommend NOT getting any type of tattoo while pregnant or nursing.
